Camping amidst green

This campsite is popular with families, older couples and keen walkers. Dogs are also welcome at this idyllic spot! Two dogs are allowed per camping pitch, provided they are kept on a leash.

Camping is very comfortable on the green country estate of Blair Castle. This is because the campsite is very spacious, as are the camping pitches. All pitches for motorhomes and caravans are partly paved and partly covered with grass. Extra large camping pitches are also available (eighteen metres long).

Accommodation

Hikers without camping gear can spend the night in a Camping Pod or one of the new Glamping pods on the campsite. Would you like to rent accommodation for a bit longer in this location? If so, enjoy your stay in a luxury Woodland Lodge with all the trimmings.

Exercise and relaxation

Children can play outside and thoroughly enjoy themselves on this campsite. There is also a playground. In high season it is also possible to feed the deer at the castle. Children can head for the 'game room' to play pool, ping pong, or table football. In high season, there is on-site segway tours and bikes to rent. The campsite has its own beauty room. You can go there for a massage, haircut or beauty treatment.

"Thanks to its location on the A9, this is a suitable transit campsite. But it's also great for a longer stay. Near the castle."

Travelling party: Couple

A big quiet open site, we stayed October/November time for a week on a fully serviced pitch, but there were very few touring units present. facilities were clean and warm, staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds well maintained, pitches big enough and accessible despite a lot of rain. The shop is very limited but there are places close by for supplies. The laundry room was excellent with a drying room if you get wet clothes. we’d return again, I had to complete five categories in the review so Child friendliness got five as it’s a lovely open site. Food and drink is limited in the shop.
