Braemar Caravan Park is surrounded by the picturesque mountains of Scotland's Cairngorms National Park: a landscape of impressive mountains, beautiful valleys and lovely rivers. The campsite is near the quaint village of Braemar, in the middle of Royal Deeside – where the British Royal Family have spent their summers since the reign of Queen Victoria. In the winter, you can ski at the Glenshee Ski Centre, which is just half an hour's drive from the village.

Camping in all seasons
This beautiful campsite is accessible via one of the most beautiful routes in Scotland, the road from Perth to Aberdeen. The surface is level and well maintained. The friendly and helpful staff will be happy to help you plan day trips and activities. Braemar Caravan Park is open all year round, and every season has its own charm. In the winter, a snowplough is used to ensure that the site is still easily accessible. Lockers are available for ski equipment.
Wildlife and whisky
Thanks to its ideal location and good amenities, Braemar Caravan Park is the perfect base for discovering the Scottish Cairngorms. The environment is carefully managed, which means you're likely to encounter wild animals such as red squirrels, deer and – with a bit of luck – an eagle. You can go wildlife spotting yourself along the countless footpaths that lead deep into the park, or go on an organised safari or walk with a guide. Fancy something completely different? Not far from the campsite is Royal Lochnagar Distillery, where you can learn all about whisky and sample this ‘water of life’ yourself.
