Travelling party: Couple

Extremely unpleasant receptionist. Think twice before booking this site. I visited this site before booking and discovered a receptionist who was rude and eventually shouted at me that I would not be welcome. Not surprisingly there were very few caravans on site, no WiFi available, no provisions and the cafe was closed at 3pm mid week. Give it a miss, there are much better lower priced locally.

We visited the campsite reception today and received what con only be described as hostility.
I am not surprised that the are no other reviews for the site. Maybe they have been removed because they could not be anything other than negative considering the attitude of the woman in reception.
Within 30 seconds of asking some polite questions about the facilities we felt sorry for the one employee who tried to be helpful and polite. She was shut down by the much older blonde receptionist who repeatedly talked over her.
When the fess to be paid were being discussed it was not obvious that the price per night did not include occupants, which when 2 adults are added more than doubled the cost per night with no hope of an internet connection via WiFi. The site advertises the WiFi as 80 -100%.
The discussion regarding the cafe was interesting too. Not only was there no real explanation of when it might be open but the telephone number for the person running the cafe was denied. Interestingly when I visited the cafe, the number was posted on the door of the closed cafe. I offered the mobile number to the irate receptionist, but this helpful advice was rebuffed as if it was poison. I feel very sorry for Pauline who runs the cafe.
As I departed the site the older receptionist shouted at me that I would never be welcome on the site!!
I would advise any prospective visitor to give this place a very wide berth.
