Lane to entrance is heavily pot-holed.
Entrance has scrap metal and large heavy security gates accessible only by pedestrians and vehicles by key card.
Situated next to large wooden pallet factory which uses the lane for HGV access early in the morning. Smells at times.
Pitch allocated at reception before gates are opened.
No choice. Staff give no tour and do not show the way.
2 toilet blocks, one good, one poor.
Extremely busy at weekends, and very difficult too get a pitch on the main site, away from the open field.
You may take a booking expecting a pitch on the main site, and be allocated a spot on a very busy children\'s Playground.
Most caravans on site are permanent.
Surrounding area is good, but apart from a short walk into the village, this is not walking or cycling country.
Rutland lake is the place to go for this.
There are many better and more friendly sites than this one nearer to Rutland lake.
I hope this is helpful.
