Camping Lac des Brenets is located in the west of Switzerland, less than a kilometre from the border with France. This campsite is within walking distance of the lake of the same name. Lac des Brenets is a lake in the river Doubs. The terraced campsite offers a view of the lake and the surrounding hills. In the green surroundings of the Swiss Jura, the focus is on nature and relaxation. The well-maintained campsite is ideal for sporty people who also like peace and quiet. There is no entertainment programme and no swimming pool.

Enjoy the tranquillity

When you enter the campsite, you will be welcomed by a friendly staff member. The campsite has a limited number of pitches for short stays. The majority of the pitches are rented out to seasonal guests. The guests come mainly for their rest and to enjoy the green surroundings. Several walking and cycling routes depart from the campsite. At the campsite itself, you will find a playground and a table tennis table. Next to the campsite is a tennis court for campsite guests to use.

Cheese fondue at the campsite

Convenient: next to the campsite is a petrol station with a small supermarket for basic groceries. You will find a larger supermarket seven kilometres away. Don't feel like cooking yourself? There is a restaurant on the campsite where you can enjoy a tasty dinner. Restaurant Bellevue serves various fish, meat and pasta dishes. But you can also join them for a traditional Swiss cheese fondue. The village of Le Locle is a 15-minute drive from the campsite. There are several well-regarded restaurants here.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Friendly staff. Very clean facilities. Amazing views and close to the Port for the ferry to Saut Doubs. We also enjoy the 5 min walk acess to the Doubs to do paddle surf. Very quiet camping, with large and flat parcels.

Liked - We had a great time the staff was wonderful and the facilities were very clean. The only negative was that the lake that was advertised in all of the brochures and pictures was no longer there and had dried up. Over all we had a nice stay.
