Seläter is a quiet campsite for nature lovers and active beach visitors. The campsite is situated in a pristine landscape on the west coast of Sweden, close to Norway. The popular Capri beach attracts a fair amount of tourists to the area, but it is not often really busy. The beach is glorious, with an impressive water chute and a jumping/diving platform. The nearby town of Strömstad is worth a visit.

Secluded camping terrain
When you arrive, you initially only see the reception and a mini golf course. Once you pass the gate, you will see the sloping camping grounds. The staff at the reception will extend you a friendly welcome and will gladly assist you with any questions.
Spacious pitches on a level field
The camping pitches are spacious and are located on level fields with grass. The terrain has a typical Swedish appearance with lots of trees. You can choose a pitch with lots or only a bit of shade. The five lodge tents next to the trekker huts are new. You can also rent bungalows and chalets.
Beach with spectacular slide
The Capri beach is located less than a km from the campsite. On this beautiful beach you can have a great time on the gigantic water slide, the jumping/diving platform and on the beach, of course. You can see Norway to the north. Because of the distance, it might be fun to rent a bicycle to go to the beach. There is an 18-hole golf course across the campsite.
Basic supplies
In the campsite shop you can buy a few necessities, such as fresh bread. There are restaurants some five km down the road in Strömstad. The sanitary facilities on the campsite are neat and tidy.
