Camping in a nature reserve
There's no shortage of nature at Herrfallet Stugby & Camping. Here you'll be camping in a nature reserve. Your pitch is right on the water. The pitches are spacious, with dimensions ranging from 100 m² to 120 m².
Don't have your own camping equipment, but still want to spend your holiday in this beautiful place? Then rent one of the simple wooden bungalows, also known as stugas.
Dive into the clear water
Lake Hjälmaren is shallow and has gently sloping sandy beaches. Children will have a great time swimming and splashing around in its waters. The lake also has rocky islands for sunbathing.
Are you the more active type? Then this lake is also great for you. Windsurfing and sailing are allowed on the water. You can also take a canoe trip. Fishermen can rent a boat or go out with their own boat. Cyclists and hikers will also get their money's worth in the vicinity of the campsite.
From cycling to shopping in Stockholm
Consider taking a day trip to Stockholm (164 km). It's about a two hour drive by car. Or take the train. You'll then be in the centre of Stockholm within 1.5 hours. This city is well worth a visit. It offers museums, a boat tour, shopping and great food.
