Family campsite
At Rådestrands Campsite you camp under tall coniferous trees. The camping pitches are spacious and you can park your car next to your tent or caravan. The campsite is mainly aimed at touring campers, but you can also rent lovely, traditional log cabins ('stugor'). The view of the lake and the wooded shores is magnificent.
From your pitch you can walk directly to the white sandy beach. The clear water is perfect for swimming. The bottom slopes gently down, so the water deepens gradually. Ideal swimming and playing conditions for (small) children.
For children with stamina
The entertainment programme at Rådestrands Campsite is a bit tougher than on most campsites. In high season a number of outdoor activities are organised for children. For instance, the enthusiastic entertainment team teaches children how to build rafts, make their own bow and arrow, build huts and climb trees.
Beavers and moose
Adults will also enjoy going into the forest or onto the water. This is a campsite for nature lovers. Weekly excursions are organised in high season. Go on a canoe trip on the lake or on a rafting trip on the Klarälven river. Tip: join a beaver safari on the water or a game safari in the forest. \
