Camping with a lake view
On this campsite, you can choose from a spacious pitch in the pine forest or a spot on the beach side. The spots on the beach side offer a lovely view of the Vänernmeer. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and very clean.
Water fun galore
The Karlstad Swecamp Bomstad Baden campsite is located on the north side of the Vänernmeer. This is not the largest lake in Western Europe. It looks more like a sea! The Vänernmeer is therefore the perfect place to explore with a kayak, canoe or raft. Is it a sunny day? Relax on the sandy beach or take a dip in the fresh water.
Time to get a bite after a day full of water fun? Then take a seat in the camping restaurant Bomstad Kitchen & Bar. It is open from May through the start of September. The menu offers plenty of diversity; from fresh salmon and salads to hamburgers and pizzas.
Also great for the kids
For children between 5 and 12, there are many activities organised in the summer. For example, cuddling an elk - not a real one, naturally, but with the campsite mascot. There are some playgrounds spread out over the campsite. The campsite also has a disc golf course and a mini-golf pitch.
