Degernäs Camping is in a quiet area, right by Lake Möckeln and surrounded by typical Swedish woodlands. This is a neatly maintained campsite with new toilet and washing facilities and a private sandy beach by the recreational lake. Special dog shows take place here several times a year. Degernäs Camping is in the town of Degerfors, about 50 kilometres west of the city of Örebro.

At Degernäs Camping, you camp in a sparsely populated area in the Swedish Värmland landscape. The area around Degerfors is mainly forested. You will frequently encounter photogenic lakes during walks and cycle rides.

After arriving at the campsite, you can choose from various marked pitches. There are unmarked pitches for tents on the river side. The camping pitches are spacious, but they are not all equally level. There are also accommodation for hire, including a number of lovely hiker's cabins. Some are right by the lake. A number of huts are suitable for people with limited mobility. The toilet and washing facilities at the campsite are good. There are adequate toilet and washing facilities and a large part of them are new.

Degernäs Camping is right by Lake Möckeln, where it is safe to swim. You walk straight out of your tent onto the sandy beach and into the water! Swimming jetties are installed on hot days, so that you can also literally dive into this recreational lake. There is an outdoor playground by the lake. Fun activities are regularly organised for children in the summer holidays.
