Kalmar Camping Rafshagsudden is a quiet campsite with a full view of the sea. The campsite is on a peninsula in a green setting in the province of Småland, only 10 kilometres away from the city of Kalmar. The campsite offers pitches, lodge tents and huts. It is here that you can discover the peace and quiet of the Swedish countryside. Just the last few kilometres to the campsite, a winding forest road, already puts you in a holiday mood.

Relaxing by the sea

The spacious pitches are distributed over the site with a choice of sunny pitches or shaded corners under the trees. Some pitches are so close to the sea that you can hear the sound of the waves! If you don't have your own camping equipment, at Kalmar Camping Rafshagsudden it is possible to rent a cottage or a luxury glamping tent.

A carefree camping holiday

The campsite has modern amenities, including two well-kept toilet blocks. There is a small supermarket with a wide range of goods. Uddens Bistro & Bar is the right address for local dishes or a drink with a view of the sea. During the high season the campsite organises all kinds of activities, such as live music and themed evenings.

There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and cycling trips through the countryside. Be sure to visit Kalmar (17 km), known for, among other things, its castle and its historic city centre. And don’t forget to visit the glassworks in the area to admire this old craft.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Heel grote camping aan zee. Zeer veel seizoensplaatsen. De wcgebouwen waren netjes, 1 gebouw werkte met pasjes. In dit gebouw stond de muziek echt ontzettend hard, zo hard dat je bijna moest schreeuwen om elkaar te verstaan. Dit zorgde ervoor dat we niet echt ontspannen konden douchen. Veel speelmogelijkheden voor de kinderen. Ook goede wandelmogelijkheden vanaf de camping met de hond. Wel veel lawaai in de avond van de seizoensgasten.
