Campsite Etxarri is ideally located between two nature parks, the Parque Natural Aralar and Parque Natural Urbassa y Andía. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts, in particular, will be able to indulge themselves in this region. The peaceful Basque family campsite is mostly quiet but comes to life on the weekends with its many Spanish permanent guests.

Between the age-old oak trees
The grounds are partly situated in a forest with tall, age-old oak trees. They offer both sunny and shaded pitches. The pitches are partly separated by low trees and privet hedges. They have a grassy surface. Want to rent something? Choose from one of the bungalows or the rooms. The communal sanitary facilities look neat and tidy.
Enormous swimming pool
The swimming pool, which is open to the public, is almost Olympic-sized and is well-tended. There is a separate paddling pool for younger children. Surrounding the pool is a sunbathing lawn with trees where you can lie on a towel in the sun or shade.
Numerous playing areas
There are numerous playing areas for both children and adults, such as a basketball court and a playground. Also fun: play a round of squash or tennis on one of the courts or a round of minigolf on the golf course. There is an entertainment programme for the children in the peak season.
Good food and fresh bread
The food in the campsite restaurant is excellent, although it is somewhat expensive by Spanish standards. You can, however, order takeaway meals to eat by the tent, caravan or motorhome. The campsite shop stocks limited supplies, but there is fresh bread available daily. You can do your main grocery shopping in the nearby town of Etxarri-Aranatz.
