Camping Santa Tecla is situated within a protected nature reserve at the mouth of the Minho river. This river forms the border between Spain and the northern part of Portugal. You camp here on Spanish territory in the province of Galicia and 'across' from Portugal. The campsite derives its name from the Santa Tecla mountain. The campsite is located at the foot of the mountain. An amiable family campsite which is mainly frequented by senior citizens and families with preschool children in the low season. The campsite takes its young guests into consideration and has made a separate section of the camping grounds available to them.

Various camping pitches
There is a choice of various camping pitches which are all more or less the same size. Some have shade, some don't. The degree of privacy also differs. There are also pitches with and pitches without trees or bushes.
Swimming pool and river
And after a day of exploring the area, isn't it wonderful to dive into the large swimming pool? When the sun is no longer at its zenith, that plunge in the pool is really refreshing. Afterwards, you can dry off on the sunbathing lawn next to the pool. The Minho river is also great fun. It is directly accessible via a pathway. The river is suitable for all kinds of watersports.
Excellent facilities
The facilities on the campsite are excellent. The restaurant prepares tasty meals. There is a playground for children and guests can kick a ball about on the sports field. The supermarket stocks a wide range of ingredients for your breakfast, lunch or camping dinner. The sanitary facilities are very good, with provisions for persons with limited mobility.
