Campsite El Solsonès Vacances (near the village of Solsona) is in a rolling rural area at the foot of the Pyrenees. The surrounding area is perfect for long walks or cycling trips. Solsona is a quiet town with a medieval centre in the Catalan province of Lerida. The campsite is open year-round. The campsite is run in an ecologically responsible manner.

Simple but well-maintained campsite

El Solsonès Vacances is a simple but well-maintained campsite with part permanent pitches and some touring pitches. The touring pitches are about 80 m2 large and covered with grass. They are a bit bare in the dry summers or are covered with gravel. The trees at the campsite provide plenty of shade. 

The rental accommodations are simple but nice and well-maintained. You can also spend the night in charming igloo pods, luxury tents (glamping) and comfortable bungalows and chalets.

Swimming pool with terrace

The swimming pool is the central point of the campsite. It is surrounded by the terrace of the bar and it's always bustling. The water is ecologically purified. The water in the sanitation facilities is heated with solar boilers. The used water is also recycled.

Taste the local cuisine

The restaurant at the campsite El Solsonès Vacances is wonderful. Thanks to the air conditioning, it's cool there even in the hottest summers. The typical Catalan cuisine is ecologically prepared and the extensive menu has something for everyone. You can get snacks and drinks in the bar and on the terrace by the swimming pool. You can get your everyday needs in the camping shop.

Travelling party: Single

Der Platz besteht scheinbar zu 90% aus Dauercampern !
Als Platz für Zelte wurde der „ehemalige“ Fitnessparcour ausgewiesen, dieser liegt in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Müllentsorgungsplatz der gesamten Anlage wie sich später herausgestellte also zwangsläufig ausgiebige Unterhaltung durch Mitcamper auf dem Weg ihren Müll zu entsorgen plus die entsprechenden Gerüche.
Während der Anmeldung würde explizit nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit Motorrad gefragt, auf dem Stellplatz angekommen wurde das Parken des Motorrades am Zelt untersagt !
Dumm nur das man als Motorradreisender all sein Zeug auf den Motorrad hat !
Fazit: Für Motorradreisende für den Preis leider völlig ungeeignet !
