If you are looking for peace and quiet and like to recharge in the countryside amid the mountains, then in this idyllic spot in the north of Spain, you camp at a small-scale campsite close to Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. This campsite attracts many walkers and nature lovers due to the beautiful setting at an altitude of 1,300 metres on the GR11 walking trail. The village of Espot is only a five minute walk, where there are some shops and restaurants. Will you be going camping in the Spanish Pyrenees?

Small-scale campsite with shaded pitches

After arriving at the campsite, you will be allocated a pitch on the camping ground. There are only 20 camping pitches so it is nice and quiet. The camping pitches are reasonably large and shaded. You see lots of campers with tents and hiker's tents. It's also fine for large motorhomes and caravans, but the pitch may feel somewhat cramped. You set yourself up on a grass surface and enjoy the shade of the trees.

If you don't bring your own camping equipment, you can hire one of the hotel rooms or apartments. Here, you spend the night in a clean room with wonderfully soft beds.

You come here if you enjoy quiet, conviviality and stunning countryside. The operators have genuine attention for every camper and ensure they want for nothing. They are more than happy to help with tips and advice about the nearby national park and lovely walking and cycling routes.
