Camping Salatà, less than 700 metres from the coast, is in Catalonia, Spain. This family campsite is a wonderful location for young and old because of the entertainment programme during the high season, amenities such as the playing field and swimming pool and the beautiful surroundings. During the off season, the campsite is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.

Supermarket with local products

Camping Salatà’s campgrounds are well-kept. There is plenty of vegetation and the pitches are grassy. The size of the pitches vary and are clearly demarcated. You can also stay overnight in a luxury mobile home or safari tent. A good meal can be had at the restaurant, and you needn’t leave the campsite for your basic needs since there is a supermarket that sells mainly products from local suppliers. You can also purchase fresh rolls here every day.

Within walking distance from the sea

Camping Salatà is within walking distance from the Mediterranean Sea. You can walk to the centre of Roses (2.5 km) via the boulevard along the beach. Roses is a charming village with shops and restaurants. It also has various options for water sports.

If you would rather go for a refreshing swim in the swimming pool, no problem! Those who love the water will have hours of fun in the swimming pool with a separate wading pool and a large Jacuzzi. During the high season, the entertainment team organises daily activities such as aqua-gym, yoga mornings and sampling of local products. Plenty of things are organised for children as well. There is also a small garden where the youngest campsite guests are welcome to learn all about the vegetables growing there.

Travelling party: Seniors

Wij hebben deze camping in oktober van 2022 bezocht. Het weer zat wel enigszins mee (+/- 25°). Camping op wandelafstand van Stad Roses (30 min) op 5 min van het strand. Er is een strandje verderop waar je met de hond op mag met parkeergelegenheid maar hiervoor moet je wel de auto nemen om er te geraken.
We hebben er 12 dagen met de camper verbleven en geen dag verveeld. Alles netjes in orde en redelijk proper. Het zwembad hebben wij niet gebruikt en dus geen ervaring. Winkeltje op de camping die het essentiële voorschotelt.
Restaurants en kruidenierwinkel op wandelafstand.
In de buurt (max 30km) meerdere plaatsen die de moeite zijn om te bezoeken.
Zelfs in oktober was de camping bijna elke dag volzet zonder het idee te hebben dat het erg druk is.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Spent three weeks on site. Will visit again Well laid out site with water and grey water disposal on pitches. Quite site at night. Within walking distance to a lovely beach and promenade.

We stayed at this campsite for two months Mid April to Mid June 2021. Why we just loved to explore the surround areas. The staff were great they even got the gardeners to clean the t op of our caravan as fruit from the trees close to the pitch collected heavily on the roof. Pitch are 100m plus so plenty of room for our 8 metre caravan and awning. The grounds are well cared for and very neat. Highly recommended. Regards Paul Foley.
