Campsite Platja Vilanova is located at some 150 metres from the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. The sizeable family campsite is situated between Barcelona and Tarragona. Here you can experience the real Spanish holiday culture. Have a siesta in the afternoons and enjoy the long evenings with late meals and lots of entertainment. The region is not very touristy, but boasts lots of good wine.

Straight rows

The camping grounds are uncluttered and neatly maintained. There are a few tall palm and pine trees providing shade. Shade nets have been fitted above the pitches for additional shade. This campsite has mainly permanent pitches and rental accommodation, located in rows along straight pathways. There are separate parking areas for your car, so that you do not have to park on your camping pitch. 

Vamos a la playa

The distance from the entrance of the campsite to the beach is three hundred metres, only a five minute walk. The seawall has created beautiful, bowl-shaped sandy beaches, where the water remains shallow for a long time and there are only light waves. Hence, it is also ideal for young children to swim and paddle. Along the beach runs an attractive esplanade with small restaurants and bars overlooking the water. 

Different rhythm

At Platja Vilanova most people take a siesta in the afternoon. During that time not much is going on. So why not adopt this Spanish custom, so that you can enjoy the longer evenings. You will really need this, as entertainment is provided until the early hours of the morning. Besides, the restaurant on the campsite only opens at 9 p.m.

Een camping met wat leven in de brouwerij.
Spoorlijn loopt achter camping. Echter, heel weinig last van. Een nadeel: WiFi alleen bij de bar, 2 uur verbinding. Eenmaal op je plek betaalde WiFi.
