If you'd like to go on a city break to Barcelona and are looking for someone to stay nearby, this campsite is a good option. Camping Estrella de Mar is only 20 kilometres from the centre of Barcelona. With its outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, entertainment programme and sports and games facilities, the campsite also has plenty to offer. Furthermore, here you camp 500 metres from an expansive sandy beach.

Shaded site with pitches, mobile homes and lodge tents

A large part of Estrella de Mar consists of fields where you can camp with your own caravan, motorhome and/or tent. The nice thing is that most pitches have plenty of shade. So, it's a nice place to be on hot Spanish summer days. At Camping Estrella de Mar not only can you book a spacious pitch, but you can also stay in a modern mobile home or safari tent.

Swimming pool or sea, which one will you choose?

Castelldefels is by a wide sandy beach that stretches for many kilometres. You will also find a lovely place to swim closer to the campsite. The campsite itself has a large swimming pool, which is lovely for swimming some laps. This swimming pool is also appealing to children, as there is a paddling pool next to the main pool.

Plenty of sport, games and entertainment

There is plenty of entertainment at this campsite in the form of a lovely landscaped playground and various sports facilities. Here, you can play football and basketball, while the padel court, a jeu de boules court and table tennis table are available for use. Furthermore, the entertainment team organises many fun activities in the summer.

Travelling party: Couple

Sind zwei Nächte da übernachtet. Definitiv eine zu viel. Camping eignet sich für die Durchreise und eine Übernachtung. Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Nach der ersten Übernachtung wurden zwei Sanitäranlagen geschlossen. Verständlich aber zumindest eine Info wäre angebracht gewesen wohin man nun gehen soll. Stellplätze sind ungepflegt und zum teil vermüllt. Restaurant und Mini Market haben am zweiten Tag zu, ohne Information auf Öffnungszeiten. Camping ist für Dauermieter!

Schöner Platz, Sanitäranlagen lassen leider zu wünschen übrig, aber sauber. Keine Klobrille bei den Männern und keine Außentüren an den Gebäuden, im Januar daher sehr frisch beim duschen. Den Fluglärm kann man eine ganze Zeit ausblenden ( 2 Min. Takt) aber irgendwann nervt es auch. Aber sehr freundliches, nettes Personal.

Travelling party: Seniors

Obwohl wir spät kamen und nicht reserviert hatten bekamen wir einen Platz. Super.
Die Einweisung war sehr angenehm.

Weniger schön ist der Zustand des zentralen Sanitärhauses. Männertoiletten ohne Klobrille, und am nächsten Morgen nicht sehr sauber. Das Geschirr muss man mit kaltem Wasser waschen ( es sei denn man holt es sich aus der Dusche :-)))
Es gibt noch weitere Sanitäreinrichtungen. Waren toll aber dann leider versperrt. Mit warmen Wasser. Diese Anlage ist wohl nur am Wochenende für die Dauermieter auf.

Noch ein Tip: die Busfahrt nach Barcelona. Problemlos.
Nur bei der Rückfahrt darauf achten dass man nicht bei Marina aussteigt. Dann geht man nämlich wie wir 3 km zu Fuß. Bis Av. Europa Alcanar mit dem L95 fahren. Dann sindfes nur ein paar Meter.

Der Platz ist sehr stark in die Jahre gekommen. Die Stellplätze ungepflegt und tlw. vermüllt. Sanitär zwar soweit sauber aber alt und heruntergekommen. Nicht alle Sanitäreinrichtungen mehr nutzbar. Der Platz liegt in der Einflugschneise des Airportes Barcelona und ist entsprechend laut. Nachts war es ruhig.

Der Platz liegt leider in der Einflugschneise Flughafen Barcelona.
Den ganzen Tag fliegen die Jets zum greifen nah über einem weg.
Nichts für Ruhesuchende...
