You will find the friendly terraced campsite Caravaning Oyambre on a gently sloping terrain near the town of San Vicente de la Barquera. The sea is only 500 m away from the campsite. You are staying here on the quiet Costa Verde amidst a protected nature area.

Well-maintained campsite

At Caravaning Oyambre you will get a spacious demarcated pitch or a spot on an open lawn. The campsite is clean and well-maintained. The camping pitches have no or little shade due to the relatively young greenery. From the terraces, you have a beautiful view of the Picos de Europa. Permanent guests are accommodated in a separate area from the touring pitches. There are also some fifty beautiful bungalows on the campsite.

Delicious and affordable dishes

In the attractive restaurant, you can choose between dishes on the extensive menu or the menu of the day. The tasty three-course dinner is reasonably priced. You can enjoy your meal in the charming restaurant or on the cosy terrace. In the camping shop, you will find a limited assortment of foodstuffs (also fresh bread).

Swimming pool and palm trees

The swimming pool (200 m2) is flanked by palm trees. The adjacent toddler pool measures approx. 16 m2. Adjacent to the swimming pool you will find several loungers.

Surfing in the sea

The campsite has a sports field. A short walk through the fields will lead you to a lovely wide sandy beach and the sea. You will find may surfers here. Bodyboarders also love riding the waves. You can look for crabs between the rocks. Great excitement for children!

Liked - Toilets and showers immaculate, lovely lady attending to them all day
Very good reception staff English speaking
We had lots of rain and they were happy to change our pitch
Very good stop near Santander

Liked - Lovely site, very clean, well maintained. Great location for walking to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even understanding when we left without paying! Ooos!

Liked - The friendly and helpful staff at reception. The spotless toilets and showers, ( it rained a lot but they were kept constantly clean). Lovely situation, as in a nice 20 minute stroll to the unspoilt beach. Nice pools.
Disliked - A small gripe - many of the plastic lounge chairs around the pool were split.

Liked - You couldn’t wish for more.
The site has everything, restaurant, pool, vvvv clean facilities. Awesome members of staff. The pitches (we had a twin axle caravan) was fully serviced. Large enough for an awning the caravan and car.
The area we were parked is tight, you deffo need motor movers!!!
We have no children, burg there seems to be plenty for them to do.
We have a dog (Labrador) the site has its own huge dog walking field. The beach is 20 mins walk. Stunning beach! Great restaurant.

All very happy. Would stay again.

Liked - What was not to love about Camping Playa de Oyambre. Lovely staff at Reception, Shop, cafeteria, Swimming Pool and shower toilet block, always being cleaned by your lovely ladies. Beautiful launderette, table tennis and for our dog, a walk area second to none with beautiful views of the beach and a great dog wash. Thank you we will be back.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Easy to book on line and pay a deposit, friendly welcome with the personal touch of being shown to our pitch. Very clean and comprehensive set of facilities, loved the cafe/restaurant and shop the later with lovely local foods. The site is close to the beach and the town of Comillas. Loved using the swimming pool and used the bar to watch the Euros football.

A very special site and good to read that others agree. The cleaners are the most enthusiastic happy people and it pays off as the bathrooms are mint !
The walk down to a beach bar offers amazing views whilst Comilla and St Vincente offer great days and meals out.
We stayed here on our way in to spain and we wanted to finish here as it felt like home.
