Want to enjoy the beautiful region of Andalusia, just a 20 minute drive from the Spanish coast? You can do this at Camping Presa La Viñuela, located on the La Viñuela reservoir. This small-scale campsite is a peaceful oasis. Here you'll enjoy views over the beautiful, mountainous surroundings. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area. Don't expect an extensive entertainment programme, but you definitely won't be bored. Relax by the pool or venture into the surrounding area, where there is plenty to do for active campers. For a day in the city, you can also go to bustling Málaga.

Perfect place for peace seekers

The friendly staff of this small, quiet campsite will welcome you upon your arrival. There are 39 camping pitches and 11 mobile homes. The camping pitches are equipped with a pergola shade. This is especially nice on hot days. There are limited facilities, which makes the campsite particularly suitable for those seeking peace and quiet.

Swimming with a view

You can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. There are sun loungers around the pool where you can relax with a good book. There's also a table tennis table and a small football field. No activities are organised on the campsite. However, you can explore the area on foot or by bicycle from the campsite. Pets are also welcome at the campsite. Don't feel like cooking? The campsite has a grill restaurant with a large terrace. You'll enjoy a beautiful view of the reservoir from the terrace.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Fabulous views. Quiet. Good location as we were visiting friends. Receptionist extremely helpful. Good sized pitches. Pool area looked great. All the usual amenities.
Disliked - Shower block needs total renovation. Sliding doors on showers were falling off. Although it had obviously been cleaned, it looked extremely grubby. Not the cleaners fault. Washing up area needs a lick of paint. Water tap on our pitch not working. The whole site just needs some TLC.
