Camping Savinja is a great campsite in Rečica ob Savinji, Slovenia. This campsite offers a quiet camping experience surrounded by nature. You camp at the edge of the woods within walking distance of the clear Savinja river. The campsite has spacious camping pitches and modern, well-kept toilet facilities. During the high season it is possible to purchase fresh bread daily from the local baker.

Camping on the edge of the woods

At Camping Savinja you can choose from 30 pitches from 80 to 120 square metres. All pitches have plenty of natural shade from the old fruit trees that surround them. Thirteen of these pitches are equipped with both water and electricity connections. The other pitches only have electricity. For campsite visitors with a motorhome, there is a special service point where water can be added and waste water can be discharged.

Clean amenities

Camping Savinja has modern and well-kept amenities. The main building has luxury toilet facilities that are heated with a heat pump. Relax in one of the hammocks or enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar. The campsite also provides free wifi and fresh bread daily from a local baker during the high season.

Green surroundings

There is plenty to do in the area around the campsite. Hike and cycle through the green hills and mountains of the Savinja valley or visit the nearby Mozirje (6.5 km) with its beautiful arboretum. For an active excursion, go on a guided e-bike tour through the valley or visit the nearby farm Blatnik for some horseback riding.
