In the town of Občina Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, in the thinly populated east of Slovenia, lies Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš. The wooded location and the luxurious facilities make this an ideal campsite for those who want to completely relax while on holiday. The spacious pitches and modern accommodations are right next to a wonderful swimming lake. The campsite is also only five minutes away from the A5. This is a new campsite, meaning that some amenities and accommodations are likely still under construction.

Luxury glamping accommodations

As can expected from a campsite of this chain, Falkensteiner Premium Camping Lake Blaguš has plenty of options for glamping. A series of luxury holiday cottages have been placed along the long side of the lake. You stay in the most densely wooded section of the park, where you enjoy a view of the lake. Of course, you can also stay overnight on a lovely pitch. The touring pitches are along the short side of the lake, on open camping fields with vegetation that is still young. Some pitches have a wooden side tent, which is ideal if you are travelling with children.

Go for a refreshing swim in the lake

Swimming in Lake Blaguš is one of the most popular activities among campsite guests. There are various spots with a jetty from which you can jump into the invigorating water. Another highlight of this campsite is the restaurant. In the morning, you can enjoy an extensive breakfast, and for the rest of the day there are fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, cheese dishes, meals with meat and (other) local specialities available.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Deze camping is deels nog in aanbouw. Het toiletgebouw voor de camping is nog in aanbouw. Ook het speeltuintje is nog niet gerealiseerd. Wel is er vervangend sanitair aan het restaurant wat erg netjes en schoon is. Van het sanitair bij de huisjes kan je de sleutel vragen bij de receptie.
Wij verbleven er met twee kinderen van 6 en 7 jaar. Het meer is geweldig mooi en er loopt ook een klein beekje langs de andere kant. Zwemmen, suppen, in de kano of een roeiboot huren. Het kan allemaal. Mooie ruime plekken.
Het restaurant heeft heerlijk eten met een simpel menu. Aan het meer zie je ook veel lokale bewoners die een drankje doen in het restaurant.
Supermarkt en andere winkels zijn met name met de auto of fiets goed bereikbaar. Op de camping zelf is geen winkel. Wel is er een ontbijtoptie in het restaurant.
Receptie is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Voor nu nog het en der wat zaken die niet af zijn, maar al een hele fijne camping.
