Camp Vodenca is situated between high mountains, in the middle of the unspoilt nature of Triglav National Park. At this small campsite, camping is still real camping: crawl into your tent after an evening under the stars, while the campfire is still smouldering. You camp on a lawn on one of the terraces, from where you have a view of the surrounding mountains. Camp Vodenca is an ideal base for mountain hikers and water sports enthusiasts (e.g. kayakers and rafters. Please note that the access road and the campsite itself are not suitable for larger motorhomes and double-axle caravans.

Camping with a view

The green terrain area of Camp Vodenca has some difference in height, so there are several camping fields. In a slightly more open area there is space for campers and caravans, while the higher situated tent field receives more shade from the trees. Everywhere you have a view of the mountains. If you want more comfort you can rent one of the large furnished tents.

Together under the stars

Especially in high season, the tent field is a cosy sight, when it is completely full of tents and the campers enjoy a starry sky. Around the tent field there are several covered patios, where tent campers can sit dry when the weather is not so good. There is room for a campfire in a central place.

Facilities

The facilities on the campsite are quite simple, but all equally tidy. At the reception you can have a drink at the bar or on the patio. The sanitary facilities for the touring campers are standard, but look like new. For the groceries you can go to Bovec. There you'll find the supermarket, but also a shop with outdoor gear.

Travelling party: Couple

Deze middelgrote camping is ideaal voor actieve mensen. Kajakken, canyoning, klimmen, etc. Kan allemaal vanaf de camping. Vanaf de camping loop je zo naar de Soca rivier, waar je verkoeling kan zoeken op warme dagen. Met een caravan sta je op een van de twee terrassen. Vooral op eerste terras heerlijke schaduwplekken. Het tweede terras is een groot veld waar iedereen verspreid omheen staat. Ook daar tussen de bomen meer schaduw. Daar is ook meer reuring maar zonder overlast. Ondanks veel mensen op de camping merk je dat niet heel erg. Toen wij er waren waren er veel jongeren maar daar had je totaal geen hinder van. Douchen doe je beneden in het hoofdsanitairgebouw. Heerlijke douches met altijd warm water. Wc en afwas is ook op eerste terras. Sanitair wordt prima schoon gemaakt en gehouden.
Beneden bij het tentenveld is ook een buitenkeuken en mogelijkheid om overdekt je maaltijd te gebruiken. Ook zijn er diverse bbq’s die je kan gebruiken. Ideaal voor tentkampeerders.
Je wordt naar je plek gebracht door de baas op zijn elektrische scooter. Aardige man die je graag helpt.
Op de camping is verder geen restaurant oid. Broodjes en een snelle hap eventueel op naastgelegen camping. Dorpje Bovec ligt op 5 min rijden met de auto. Daar wat barretjes en eettentjes. Geen dorpje om te flaneren etc. Wel twee supermarkten waar van alles te krijgen is. Omgeving ingericht op watersporten en fietsen.

Prachtige camping met mooie grote velden waar je kan staan. Rustig, super uitzicht en schoon sanitair. Ruikt heerlijk bij de toiletten, douche iets verder lopen, maar lekker en schoon.
