Surrounding area very nice and there is a tour bus that takes you to nearby towns and you can get off and on another so plenty time to explore where you visit.
Long way from town, down a steep hill so long slog back up. Not much in surounding area
Have stayed in area many times because it is easy to avoid the commercial side of tourism and find the little gems Portugal has hidden away.
