Travelling party: Couple

kleine toerplaatsen, buiten het seizoen is dit geen probleem. De pasjes voor de entree werken bijna nooit, irritatie factor. De stroom komen ze aansluiten bij aankomst. Hier hebben we 3 keer om moeten vragen! Waar wij het meeste probleem mee hadden is de elektriciteit, 4 amp is gewoon te weinig. De stop springt dan al snel. Om een tweede aansluiting gevraagd tegen betaling was niet mogelijk. Voor ons een reden om deze camping te mijden.

Travelling party: Couple

Grote camping grotendeels voor vaste bewoners die daar in weekend komen.
Toerplaatsen redelijk ruim, camping doet niet moeilijk als je de auto op vrije plaats naast caravan stalt. Je mag de staanplaats zelf uitzoeken. Sanitair is schoon maar wel gedateerd. Geen warm water voor de afwas. Dat vonden wij echt een gemis. Wij hebben voor de afwas warmwater uit de douches gehaald die behoorlijk heet water leverden.
Ondergrond van de kampeerplaats was zanderige bosgrond met veel mieren, die erg opdringerig waren.
Er is een stadje op loopafstand dat door de week erg rustig is, maar in het weekend door veel Portugezen bezocht wordt die een dagje naar zee gaan.
Locatie camping is prachtig in het bos met zon en schaduw. Direct aan zee gelegen met eindeloze zandstranden waar je prima een kilometerslange strandwandeling kunt maken en bijna niemand tegenkomt. Zwemmen lijkt ons niet aan te raden door de harde wind, hoge golven en sterke branding.
Prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Porto. Wij hebben de trein in Ovar genomen, een plaatsje dat 5 km van de camping ligt. Retour Ovar Porto kostte voor 2 gepensioneerden 5,40!! Daar kan Nederland nog wat van leren.
De auto hebben we geparkeerd in Ovar. Op de fiets naar Ovar kan natuurlijk ook maar er is bij het station geen bewaakte fietsstalling.
Camping zouden we zeker aanraden, maar neem qat mee voor de mieren.

Meer dan 36 jaar verblijf zijn we geroerd door de gastvrijheid en sympathieke bevolking waar velen onze vrienden zijn geworden,een camping die alle zuidelijke gastvrijheid en toch schoon en georganiseerd de camping tot succes maken ,bedankt voor de fijne jaren verblijf!!!
