Camping Nova da Prado is a campsite on the west coast of Portugal, located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. As a result the campsite attracts many water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers. The colourful campsite is specially laid out for campers with tents. The campsite is situated near the fishing village of Costa Nova, on a green piece of land between the Aveiro River and the sea.

Colourful
The campsite is in the style of the colourful, striped buildings one finds in Costa Nova. The entrance gate, which gives access to a driveway leading to the reception building, has a cheerful white and blue striped motif, which is regularly repeated on the campsite.
Pitches galore
The pitches have the upper hand on the campsite. With no less than 450 camping pitches you are spoilt for choice to find an ideal one: at the foot of the dunes, near the entrance or close to the toilet block. Please note: some tent pitches are rather small and are close together, especially in peak season. If you value privacy, make sure that you choose a slightly larger pitch or one of the rental accommodation units.
Surfing
You don't have to leave the camping grounds for an active challenge. Climb over the dunes, get into your wetsuit and hop on a surfboard. The sea immediately behind the campsite is a surfers' paradise. However, it is not only surfers that are welcome here. You can bring your fishing rod, boat or canoe as well.
