In the east of Norway, you'll find the Steinvik family campsite. This campsite has a fairy-tale location on Lake Mjøsa, the largest in the country. You camp about 1.5 km from the village of Moelv. Steinvik campsite has rental accommodations as well as touring sites. There are also special spots for campers. There's plenty of fun in the water and on the water's edge.

Camping by the water
With a hundred touring sites and forty rental accommodations, huts perfect for a maximum of five people, Steinvik campsite is of average size. The huts have great furnishings, including a kitchen (with oven), coffee maker, shower and Wi-Fi. All accommodations have a covered terrace. The touring sites are between 80 and 120 m2. They are on grassland and have little demarcation and shade. Near the sanitation building, there are ten spaces especially for campers. These have a view of the lake.
Beach and lake
With direct access to some beaches and the lake there is always fun in the water here. The beaches are child friendly (with slide) and the water slopes away gradually. There is also a special wheelchair ramp for the disabled. Take a dive or hire a waterbike to explore the lake at your leisure. There are loungers and benches on the wooden terrace.
Playing and hiking
There is a playground on the campsite, primarily great for kids up to 12 years of age. Adults may be interested in the many hiking options. Tours are organised from May to October. More information is available at the campsite reception. In the high season, there are some groceries available, including fresh bread. There is also a bar.
