Camping Neset is situated on a gently sloping, triangular promontory directly on the wide Otra River. You can be assured of an unspoiled view of the crystal clear water and the low mountains each second of the day. You can camp right at the water's edge, or alternatively slightly further up on the campsite. Adjacent to a spacious lawn is a special, hardened peninsula for campers. Swim a few laps, take a trip -in a steamboat- on the river, or go rafting. In the vicinity of Evje you will find quarries and a mineral park, where you are allowed to look for rocks or hammer them out yourself. An unique experience

Separate peninsula for campers
The well maintained campsite has a good grass surface. The trees here are few and far between, so you can enjoy the sun to the fullest! There are no demarcated pitches and you may therefore stand where you wish. Once you have found a nice spot, you will experience the peaceful atmosphere. Camper vans are allocated a partly paved peninsula with a strip of grass. You can also rent new and recently renovated trekker huts and bungalows.
There are three large ablution blocks. Everything is new or recently renovated. Special features: family bathrooms, sanitary facilities for children and for the disabled.
Rafting and a colossal bouncer
You can get straight into the water from many spots along the banks. There are two sandy beaches and a couple of boardwalks. When the water is not warm enough, you may want to go rafting. There is a rafting centre some 10 km away from the campsite. On the campsite you can take part in beach volley. There are play houses and a colossal bouncer for the little ones.
