De Grienduil is a charming campsite at the edge of the village of Nieuwland (South Holland) in the midst of the river region, near the Linge. The nice, well maintained campsite is characterized by a cheery atmosphere. Every Friday evening (in the summer months) there is a convivial pizza night. These are prepared outdoors in a large wood-fired oven. The view from the campsite is a typical Dutch scene: pollard willows, meadows, ditches and cows.

There are pitches in all types and sizes
The approximately forty camping pitches on the grass are nicely maintained. They are located amongst the greenery (bushes and trees) and have a view of the surrounding meadows. The pitches are varied, not only in size (100-150 m2) but also regarding demarcation, shade and wind. There are also fourteen paved pitches of 110 m2.
Want to hire a cottage?
The rental accommodations have a special atmosphere. Overnight in a Bed & Breakfast, a luxury motorhome or in one of the large bungalows and trekker huts. The wooden trekker huts are brand new. They are built in the shape of a hefty half barrel, with doors opening on the front. The interior is also all of wood.
Especially for the little campers
The campsite is not really suited to older children with regard to facilities. There is a safe fenced playground with some play equipment where babies and toddlers can have fun. There is not much to do for teenagers.
Charming atmosphere on the terrace
The restaurant is right behind the owners' house and has a small menu. There is a lovely terrace with beautiful parasols. There is no shop, but you can get a few basics.
