Het is een camping waarvan de campingplaatsen her en der verspreid zijn in de duinen. Daarmee geeft het een heel vrij gevoel en ook een echt vakantiegevoel. Er mogen per plek (zelfs 2) honden verblijven en dat hebben veel andere campings niet. Ook zijn er elke dag genoeg honden-poepzakjes voorradig en het strand waar de camping aan gelegen is, is hondenlosloopgebied. Al met al, een heerlijke camping voor mens en dier om te vertoeven.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Eerste indruk: prachtige ligging met ruime plaatsen en een verzorgde indruk. Door de vele seizoensplaatsen was het doordeweeks rustig op de camping (in het weekend wordt het veel drukker).

Bij de receptie wordt er een borgpas verstrekt voor het gebruik van warm water. Het viel ons gelijk op dat de kosten voor het sanitair wel erg hoog waren. Ga je \'s ochtends als \'eerste\' douchen? Dan ben je gerust € 0,60 kwijt voordat je warm water krijgt. In de babykamer (babybadje) is het tarief 3x zo hoog, dus reken maar uit. Een half badje vullen kost ruim € 2,-. Met ons startsaldo van € 5,- konden we maar 2x douchen. Uiteraard hebben we deze onredelijke situatie uitgelegd bij de receptie, maar het personeel was behoorlijk afstandelijk en wilde niet meedenken richting een oplossing. We hebben vervolgens nog € 5,- erop gezet. Na veel gedoe kregen we uiteindelijk uit \'coulance\' € 5,- terug. Overigens stonk het sanitair vaak naar urine en werd er matig schoon gemaakt. Wij komen niet terug.

  • N9 Alkmaar-Den Helder, exit St. Maartenszee. Turn right at the roundabout close to the dunes. Reception on the left 1.3 km further on. Initially, park at the side of the road.
