Camping Aan Noordzee is in Sint Maartenszee on the beautiful North Sea coastline in the northern most part of the province North Holland. It is an ideal spot for lovers of the sun, sea and nature. You camp close to Het Zwanenwater nature reserve and the charming village centre of Callantsoog. With an extensive network of paved bicycle paths and walking tours, you will never get tired of it here.

Luxury and comfort in the countryside

Camping Aan Noordzee focuses on rest and privacy. Each pitch is set up spaciously and surrounded by vegetation. Each pitch also has private toilet and washing facilities. If you would like even more comfort, rent a nice holiday home. Children will have fun in the small playground and there is a local supermarket within walking distance for all of your daily needs. Beach with a blue flag

The beach at Sint Maartenszee is one of the cleanest in the Netherlands. A blue flag has been flying here for years already. This mean clean water, a clean beach and good amenities for the entire family. There are beach pavilions where you can grab a bite to eat or have a drink – all with a beautiful view of the sea. You can also rent sun beds, chairs and wind screens.

Explore the surrounding area

In addition to enjoying beach days, there are plenty of other activities in the vicinity. Wander through the dunes, cycle past the lakes in the dunes or spot seals at the Hondsbossche Zeewering dyke. Visit historic cities like Alkmaar, Enkhuizen or Medemblik, and go on an excursion to the famous cheese market in Alkmaar. The bustling capital city of Amsterdam is only an hour’s drive away.

Liked - Wegens familie omstandigheden hebben we moeten annuleren
Disliked - Serieuze familieomstandigheden maar totaal geen begrip voor de situatie. Verplaatsing was niet mogelijk en teruggaven van het geld op een menselijke wijze was niet bespreekbaar. We moesten het maar regelen met de reisverzekering!

Heerlijk rustig, kleine veldjes die van elkaar gescheiden zijn door hoge struiken waardoor je veel privacy hebt. Je kunt ook veldjes boeken waar je helemaal in je eentje staat. Eigen sanitair is handig, lekker heet water, ook aanrechtje om afwas te doen. Buitenkraan om water te tappen met afvoerputje. De douche is uitermate verfrissend met fikse douchestraal. Er zijn enkele veldjes met speeltoestellen. Tussen de camping en de chalets kun je lekker in een bosstrook de hond uitlaten en ook buiten de camping meteen een uitlaatstrook. Het enige dat jammer is, is dat je voor alle boodschappen verder weg moet. Op ongeveer 1 km heb je een duurdere winkel bij de volgende camping. Om te voet bij het strand te komen moet je toch echt wel een stukje door de duinen.

Een beetje vreemde camping….

Aan-Noordzee bestaat uit twee onderdelen. Een bungalowpark en een camping. Die moeten volkomen los van elkaar worden gezien. Deze review gaat over de camping.

De camping is wat “vreemd”. Er is geen receptie, geen slagboom. Contact verloopt via een 06-nummer of WhatsApp. Er is geen centraal sanitairgebouw, je kunt dus ook nergens afwassen etc.

Iedere plek beschikt over een (uiterst klein) sanitairgebouwtje. Die zijn (erg) oud maar lijken de laatste tijd wel wat opgeknapt te zijn. Dan nog, het aantal m2 blijft zoals het is. Weinig.

Vreemd is dat je de tank van je chemisch toilet moet legen in je eigen wc. Waarbij wel het verzoek is om je eigen toilet in de caravan etc zo min mogelijk te gebruiken. Nog nooit meegemaakt, zelfs niet in het meest kleine buitenlandse dorp.

De plekken zijn, qua oppervlakte, erg variabel. Wij hadden een plek van 60 m2. Kon net. Doordat ze veelal op veldjes liggen heb je wat meer ruimte.

Het terrein oogt niet al te best onderhouden. Lang gras, heggen niet geschoten (dus nog minder ruimte op de plek).

Kortom. Mager 6-je (van de 10).

april/mei 2023 3 weken met caravan op staanplaats met privesanitair gestaan.
Zeer rustige camping , met een behoorlijk aantal seizoenkampeerders.
Ligging midden in het gebied met tulpenvelden. Vanuit de camping naar het strand is een wandeling van zo\'n 20 minuten. Leuk fietsen in de omgeving, met name door de duinen richting Schoorl. Er is geen slagboom, en er is nauwelijks perosneel zichtbaar en toch is alles perfect geregeld.
