Looking to enjoy a holiday filled with fun in the water? We've got just the campsite for you in the heart of North Holland! EuroParcs Molengroet is located in the middle of the Geestmerambacht recreation area, which features a wonderful swimming lake and beautiful nature. It'll be difficult to choose between the park's swimming pool or a refreshing dip in the lake. Besides the activities in or around the park, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Discover Alkmaar (8 km) with its famous cheese market. A little further out, but easily accessible by car, is Egmond aan Zee (17 km). This is a nice destination for a day at the beach.

Tent, glamping or a chalet

At EuroParcs Molengroet you can camp on a beautiful pitch or opt for a rental accommodation. The camping pitches are spacious and vary in size from 80 to 100 m².

But you can also go glamping. There are glamping tents for 2 to 6 people for rent. For even more comfort, choose one of the many bungalows or chalets. You can also relax in the wooded areas surrounding these rental accommodations.

From swimming pool to the North Sea

You don't have to go far to enjoy fun water recreation activities at the park. Your children will quickly find their way to the heated swimming pool. Do not feel like swimming? Then enjoy the sun on the tranquil sunbathing lawn.

Lake Zomerdel (1 km) is a great place to take a dip in natural waters. In addition to swimming, you can also go fishing and supping here. You can alternate a day at the swimming lake with a day at the beach. Within half an hour's drive you can have your feet in the sand at Egmond aan Zee.

There's much more to do besides all the water recreation activities in and around the park. Jump on the large air trampoline or play a game of basketball or table tennis. There are also several playgrounds. During the summer holidays children (12 years of age and younger) can also enjoy playing and doing crafts with the entertainment team.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Sanitair is zwaar aan vernieuwing toe, ondanks regelmatige reiniging, onhygiënisch.
Personeel is vaak vriendelijk, maar laat ook een vorm van desinteresse doorschemeren (als je het niet aanstaat ga je toch ergens anders naar toe)en zeker niet altijd behulpzaam. Jaarlijkse prijsverhogingen zonder veranderingen en/of verbeteringen. Kampeervelden (Seizoenplekken) zien er allerbelabberdst uit en dat al jaren. De omgeving is wat ons aanspreekt, vriendelijk, schoon, sportief en positief ingesteld..., iets waar de camping zeker niet in meegaat, helaas niet.

Sanitair is verouderd. Temperatuur van de douches gaat van ijskoud maar bloedheet. Ook is het er enorm heet door slechte ventilatie. Die slechte ventilatie is ook te zien, aan alle schimmel die ontstaat, tot op het plafond aan toe. Ook loopt het riool slecht door en is de ruimte voor het l3ge van je chemisch toilet een smerigere bedoening. Personeel van park, zowel receptie als beheer, maar ook van het restaurant zou weleens om een communicatie en service training kunnen volgen. Veldjes zijn erg klein en erg onverzorgd. Weinig speeltoestellen voor de kinderen aanwezig en het voetbalveld wat er is, loop je je enkels op stuk door de ongelijkheid en molshopen. In de avond en nacht is er veel rumoer op de camping en ook is er geen controle of beheer aanwezig op deze momenten. Als er buiten kantoortijden wat is, zijn ze slecht bereikbaar. Het zwembad is eenvoudig en het grasveld wat er bij hoort, is zeer onverzorgd. Ook is de milieustraat er direct naastgelegen waardoor je af en toe een minder aangename lucht binnen haalt. Er is enkel animatie aanwezig in de vakantie en dit lijken wel stagiaires. Ze doen hun best maar hebben duidelijk geen tot weinig ervaring. De prijs is aan de lage kant, maar je krijgt er dan ook niet veel voor. Al met al, een hoop te verbeteren.

Grote camping voor 2/3 vol met chalets. Sanitair keurig schoon, maar wel aan een update toe. Aan veel is te merken dat kamperen steeds meer ondergeschikt wordt aan chalets. Prachtige omgeving om te fietsen en wandelen. Mooi recreatiegebied pal voor de deur. Wij stonden 4 dan op comfortplek, mooi groot. Gras wordt gemaaid, maar blijft liggen. Na aankomst ontdek je dat er een sleuteltje nodig is voor waterkraan. Waarom niet bij receptie verstrekt (tegen borg). Nu moet iedereen terug.
