Near the wide sandy beaches of the North Sea, only a few kilometres from Den Helder, you will find Camping de Zwaluw. It is a small-scale campsite with spacious pitches without shade. The campsite is quiet and ideal for a beach holiday. Furthermore, the campsite is an ideal base for excursions in the area. It is located on the boundary of a vast nature reserve with wide beaches. The beach is only a 5-minute walk and Den Helder is approximately 7 kilometres away.

Spacious pitches

As you drive to the campsite you will pass tulip fields and cross dunes. Driving past the coloured fields in spring is a glorious sight and at times you can even smell the hyacinths all the way to the campsite. The camping pitches on Camping de Zwaluw are spacious and open. Sun worshippers feel right at home here, because there are no trees on the campsite to provide shade. You can also choose for a rental accommodation. There are plain mobile homes.

The playground on the campsite has been entirely renovated since 2016. They now have an air trampoline, slides and climbing frames. There is a playhouse for the little ones next to the reception. Did you bring teenage children along? Challenge them to a game on the beach football field. The beach and the sea are only a 5-minute walk from the campsite. A walk through the dunes leads you to the wide beach.

Modder, geen schaduw, rij aan rij kleine plaatsen, personeel niet vriendelijk, je betaald de hoofdprijs, voor ons nooit weer, ze zullen het wel makkelijk verdienen met die nieuwe chalets.

Puur Holland, unieke ligging, niet overvol zoals in het westen of Zeeland..byzondere plek.

Camping is prima voor een paar dagen.
Wel hebben ze vernieuwd en is het een hoop lawaai door de nieuwe chalet eigenaren.

Prachtig gelegen, rustige camping, prettige medekampeerders. Nette voorzieningen.

Nette camping, kleine plekken. Rustige ligging s\'nachts rustig. De receptie is heel beperkt open. WiFi is van slechte kwaliteit, je wordt regelmatig van de wifi afgesloten en kun je niet meteen weer inloggen. Dit is het geld niet waard.

Vorig jaar daar twee dagen gestaan. Aardig personeel en lekker dicht bij het strand. Denk dat ik dit jaar daar weer ga stoppen als ik in de buurt kom.
