The campsite is located in the countryside between the Peel and the Kempen. The surroundings are great for cycling. The campsite is spacious and beautifully laid out, with spacious pitches on the grass. There is no restaurant at the campsite, but there is a cosy coffee house with a small terrace.

Large small campsite
De Somerweij only has twenty-four touring pitches. Nevertheless, with a surface area of five hectares, it is not a small campsite. The campsite is spacious, with large pitches laid out on well-maintained lawns. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and woods. De Somerweij has a separate tent pitch, but you can pitch your tent anywhere on the campsite.
Outdoor swimming pool in Someren
Five kilometres from the campsite is De Diepsteeckel, an open-air swimming pool that is open from May to September. You can cycle there in fifteen minutes. There is a 25-metre pool, a recreational pool with waterslide and a separate toddlers' pool. There is also a football and volleyball field and a sunbathing area.
Enjoying the peace and quiet
Camping De Somerweij has extensive facilities for walkers and cyclists. For example, there is a bike shed, a charging point for electric bikes and a place to clean your bike. The owners are happy to share their walking and cycling maps and the most beautiful spots in the area. For children there is a playground with play equipment and an animal pasture with farm animals. Under the pergola, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the view from a hammock.
