At the highest point of the Cauberg, in the heart of the hills of South Limburg, lies camping De Cauberg. This friendly and small-scale terraced campsite has a panoramic view of the Geul valley and the wooded hills all around. Facilities are limited, but with the centre of Valkenburg within walking distance you have all facilities within easy reach.

At the top

Camping De Cauberg is situated at an altitude of 134 metres, on the top of the hill of the same name. It goes without saying that the campsite is sloping. Terraces and paved camper pitches have been laid out on the grassland. There are sixty pitches of different sizes. Especially the camper pitches are not too spacious. The pitches are marked, but not delimited. On the campsite there are tall deciduous trees that provide the necessary shade. If you want to spend the night in a special way, you can sleep on this campsite in a wooden wine barrel.

Peace and quiet

While there is plenty to see and do in the vicinity of the campsite, there is not much to see and do on the campsite itself. There are no sports facilities or organised activities, and there is no entertainment of any kind. Children, and teenagers in particular, will soon be bored. If after a day at Valkenburg or a sporty walking or cycling tour you've had enough of a drink on the cosy terrace of the campsite's eatery, then De Cauberg is the right choice.

Terrace by the water

At the reception of camping De Cauberg there is a small camping shop with a limited assortment. However, in Valkenburg, about a kilometre away, there are several supermarkets, shops and restaurants.

Wij komen zeker terug.
