Camping De Kleine Wereld is situated in the countryside within cycling distance from the city of Groningen (14 km). It is a family campsite where there is plenty to do but you can also relax completely. Activities are organised for children during the high season. The youngest campsite guests can play for hours in the natural playground, on the playing field or in the swimming pool.

Wooden chalets with air conditioning

Camping De Kleine Wereld has a spot for everyone. It doesn’t matter whether you choose a pitch without electricity or a spacious premium pitch with electricity. You camp on grass here. If you don’t have your own camping equipment, book a Swedish cabin for a maximum of four people. The attractive wooden cabins are equipped with a kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a rain shower and air conditioning.

Dining locally and campfire nights

On sunny days you can go for a refreshing swim in the large swimming pool. There is also a separate paddling pool and a hot tub. The bar and the large sunbathing area are next to the swimming pool. An extensive dinner can be had at the bistro. The dishes are prepared with fair and, where possible, local products. Close your evening at the campsite’s campfire. You can build a fire yourself at the fire pit. Communal campfire evenings are organised regularly here as well.

Relaxing in the countryside

The Appèlbergen and Drentsche Aa nature areas are near the campsite. The marked walking tours take you past burial mounds and megaliths that are centuries old. Both nature areas can also be explored by bicycle.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Een ongekende gezellige, leuke camping. De kinderen hebben zich non-stop vermaakt in de speeltuin, het zwembad en met de skelters. De lekkere noordse mentaliteit maakt het er alleen maar gezelliger om!

Reisgezelschap; 4 personen, twee kinderen van 7,5 en 3,5.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Erg genoten van deze gezellige camping. We waren hier met onze twee kinderen, die lekker gespeeld hebben in de modderkeuken en met hun loopfiets. We hebben vaak een plons in het zwembad gedaan. Alles keurig schoon. Bas, de camping eigenaar is echt super vriendelijk en neemt alle tijd voor je (terwijl hij het gezien de vol geboekte camping ongetwijfeld druk had!) Achter de camping ligt een mooi veld met een picknicktafel. Fijn om je even terug te kunnen trekken.
We zijn veel wezen fietsen naar Groningen, waar we via verschillende fietsroutes naartoe zijn gegaan. In Groningen genoten bij de verschillende bierbrouwerijen en het oude politiebureau, en natuurlijk het stadsstrandje.
Deze camping is zeker een aanrader!
