The well maintained and complete campsite De Boshoek lies on the edge of the Veluwe, more or less between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. You can enjoy the surrounding nature and calm atmosphere here with the entire family. Yet there is more than enough to do! For instance, swimming in the (covered) swimming paradise, tennis, soccer and basketball. There is also a wellness centre.

Pitch Beaver or Goat?

The campsite is fairly new, with well maintained fields (paving bricks) and pathways with woodchips. There is little demarcation. The fields are named, for instance the Beaver Field and the Goat Field. The 112 touring pitches and 8 motorhome pitches are spacious and offer ample privacy. The 73 contemporary rental accommodation units consist of safari tents, trekker huts, bungalows and rooms.

Dutch swimming paradise

The beautiful indoor pool (the sometimes unpredictable weather conditions in the Netherlands have been taken into consideration) has a few slides. A wellness centre is linked to it. When the weather allows it, you will of course dive into the outdoor swimming pool (open from May -September). It also has a sunbathing lawn.

Lots of activities...

The entertainment programme offers too much to mention. You can take part in bowling, quad biking or attend a cookery workshop. The large playground, with sand surface, is full of challenges for children. There is also a petting zoo, a panna cage, a tennis court and a soccer and basketball field. Also fun: play a game of mini golf.

Eating and drinking

The camping shop (with limited assortment) is adjacent to the reception. Voorthuizen has a number of good supermarkets, however. There are two restaurants on the Boshoek. There is an extensive menu and good quality meals are served.

Travelling party: Seniors

Prive sanitair was mooi en schoon. Jammer dat het erg warm werd binnen. Maar toch super fijn.
Campeerplek was slecht onderhouden, gras stond erg hoog. Waardoor we caravan flink stuk van heg moesten plaatsen.Plek was klein. Maar gelukkig hadden wij niet zo’n grote caravan.
Zwembad binnen veel te klein, en niet meer van deze tijd. Voor campinggasten ook ver weg.
Buiten zwembad ook veel te klein voor park
Centrale plein erg mooi.

Ruime kampeerplaats met degelijk prive sanitair.
Binnen en buiten bad in voor en najaar voldoende maar in hoog seizoen waarschijnlijk te klein .
Restaurant met goed eten en vriendelijk personeel .
Mooie omgeving om te fietsen ,te wandelen en voor culturele uitstapjes in de omgeving

De camping viel zwaar tegen. Er werd totaal geen rekening met covid19. We kregen een plaats toegewezen waar eigenlijk gezinnen met kinderen moeten staan o.a. Springkussen .receptie wist niet of ze camping gaz hadden.
De zeepdispencers waren niet gevuld bij toiletten covid19. Slechte WiFi..zeer rumoerige buren vaste gasten drank ed.slecht onderhoud
En ga zo maar door. Dus nooit weer hier naar toe
