Camping Aan Veluwe is a quiet campsite in a beautiful, wooded and hilly area. It is the ideal place for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, hikers and cyclists. All pitches have a private bathroom, which is great if you want some extra privacy during your camping holiday. This campsite has no entertainment and no swimming pool, but there is a lot of greenery, a jeu de boules court and a table-tennis table. Surrounded by woods, a lovely hiking trail is never far away. For this reason, you are free to take your dog along to this campsite.

Charm within walking distance

The car-free pitches at Camping Aan Veluwe are extra-large. They are perfect for setting up your tent or caravan. There are also several partially paved pitches. Next to the campsite is a sports park, which may be a source of noise at times. There is no restaurant at the campsite, but the village of Oosterbeek (2.5 km), which is within walking distance, has a charming centre with shops and places to eat. If you are a nature lover, you can indulge yourself in nature reserves such as Planken Wambuis, the Deelerwoud or the Hoge Veluwe National Park. There is also a beautiful Klompenpad or pathway, the Rosandepad, along the Lower Rhine.

Visit Arnhem

Next to Oosterbeek lies the capital city of Gelderland, Arnhem (9 km). Cycle to the Dutch Open Air Museum and Burgers’ Zoo, go shopping in the Modekwartier (the fashion quarter) and in Arnhem’s charming city centre or wander through the beautiful Sonsbeek Park or Zypendaal Park. Somewhat further away from the campsite is the Kröller-Müller Museum (20 km) and the Veluwezoom National Park (19 km).

Ruime campingplaats met eigen sanitair. Voldoet aan alles. Rust (mede omdat de auto,s op de parkeerstroken staan) en gezelligheid midden in wandel en fiets gebied.

Heerlijke grote plaatsen. Oud maar goed onderhouden privé sanitair. Mooie fietsroutes in de omgeving. Supermarkt/restaurants dichtbij. Zeer vriendelijk beheerders echtpaar. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Voor ons al bekend dus een fijne plek kunnen uitzoeken met privé sanitair/was gelegenheid . Erg getroffen met het weer dn is het ook zeker goed toeven . Een zonnige plaats uitgezocht vlak bij de ingang , afval technisch prima voor elkaar .
Prima camping als uitvalbasis voor bezichtigen en allerlei tochten . Blijft voor ons een aanrader .

Grote camping zonder receptie en enige vorm van restaurant. Wel met eenvoudig privé sanitair. Al met al komt de camping ongezellig over.
Fietsen in de omgeving met zijn bossen, dorpjes en boerderijen is prachtig

Wij hebben een lang weekend hier gestaan. Prive sanitair was schoon maar wel verouderd. Sleutel lag in het prive sanitair hokje. We hebben geen beheerder gezien in deze dagen. Ietwat onpersoonlijk, als je net als wij gewend bent je aan te melden bij een receptie. De plek was groot genoeg voor onze Dethleffs 540 maar we stonden wel op een zand plek. In het voorjaar en dan al geen gras meer???? Het was leuk voor 1 keer

Heerlijke camping, vooral eigen sanitair is heerlijk. Op de camping is weinig te doen, maar de omgeving is voor natuurliefhebbers, wandelaars en fietsers fantastisch. Arnhem op fietsafstand.
