In the heart of the Netherlands, on the Veluwe, you can find Camping De Rimboe. This is a quietly-set wooded campsite with remarkably spacious pitches, both on a central grassy area and in the forest. De Rimboe is an ideal base for hiking and cycling fans, thanks to the many routes leading from the campsite to the wonderful nature.

A good first impression
Camping De Rimboe is located on a slightly sloping terrain with spacious spots in the forest. The pitches are not demarcated and feature plenty of shade. The pitches on the grassy field do, of course, receive plenty of sunlight. The modern sanitary facilities on the campsite are plentiful, even in the busier high season.
Natural camping
A special feature here is that you can reserve a pitch in the middle of the forest. You will camp a little further away from the campsite, but will have an area measuring around one hectare where you can camp in the wild. You can, of course, use all the facilities of De Rimboe.
Swimming pool with a hint of the park
Camping De Rimboe does not have its own swimming pool, but the wonderful Bosbad Lunteren, a natural swimming pool with an undulating shape, is just nine hundred metres away. The lawns are terraced and the garden parties and trees of the grounds give the whole area a park-like twist.
Fantastic cycling routes
From the campsite you can cycle from junction to junction following the numbered signs of the Veluwe bicycle node network. These bicycle routes, often car-free, are set out across the best cycling paths and are signposted in two directions. The network of bicycle routes runs through forests, heathlands and meadows, but also through villages and towns.
