De Mussenkamp is a beautifully maintained tranquil campsite with a luxurious appearance. It is mainly frequented by families with young children and guests looking for greenery, peace and spaciousness. Therefore, silence on the camping grounds is to be strictly observed from 23:00 to 07:00. There is a farm which belongs to the campsite: you may enter the stable and have a look at the cows and horses. Some 15 minutes away you will find the glorious Heerder beach with a lake to swim in.

Grass and greenery
All pitches are demarcated, in rows, either without or with some shade. All pitches measure 10 x 10 m2 with nice grass and their own water and electricity connections. Each pitch is separated by neatly clipped hedges (at different heights) or other greenery. Children will enjoy the large sandpits, playground and sports field. The sanitary facilities, in a spacious and modern building, are extremely luxurious. Everything is spotlessly clean. There are also family showers.
Water fun and pets
There is no swimming pool on the campsite. This does not matter, as there is a fairly large lake, the Heerderstrand, not far away in a northerly direction. Clean swimming water, wide sandy beach, sunbathing lawns and facilities (toilet, catering). You can really enjoy yourself here, also with activities such as beach volleyball, water polo and canoeing.
The farm of the Jalink family forms part of the campsite. Guests are welcome to visit the stables and have a look around. It is lovely for children to see cows and horses up close. You can also amuse yourself on the volleyball field or the jeu de boules pitch. There are bicycles and pedal karts for children.
