Ruime plaatsen op een prachtige locatie nabij het historische centrum, overdekt zwembad en sportfaciliteiten ernaast. Ontvangst om 18.10 uur bij de sportschool vervreemdend: zoek maar een plekje en morgen moeten ze maar verder kijken, met het risico om dus te moeten verkassen, terwijl er maanden terug al was gereserveerd! Franeker erg mooi, maar qua winkels op koopavond saai. Zeer ruime plaatsen, in onze periode een jeugdgroep wat mn in het sanitair zijn negatieve sporen naliet. Toezicht nergens gezien.

Mooie camping met redelijke plaatsen op gras. Alles, incl het sanitair, wordt goed onderhouden en ziet er verzorgd uit. Met een paar minuten lopen ben je in het leuke centrum van Franeker. Het restaurant/snackbar is zeer verzorgd voor een goede prijs. Op loop afstand zijn twee supermarkten.
