Camping Natuurlijk De Veenhoop is centrally located in the area of the Frisian Lakes. De Veenhoop is also the name of the rural village in the municipality of Smallingerland, where the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial. The Zandstra family welcomes everyone on their green campsite of a modest size.

Camping between water and nature

The marina belonging to the campsite is situated on a through waterway. This location gives it a picturesque appearance. From the campsite you can cycle into the vast nature with a different surprising route every day. You can also enjoy the surrounding nature on foot and from the water. What could be nicer than boarding a sloop after breakfast for a nice trip?

Green and spacious pitches

Camping Natuurlijk De Veenhoop has spacious pitches with various types of pitches, including the option of private sanitary facilities. Trees and shrubs on the edge of the campsite provide a neat setting. The tasteful chalets offer wonderful accommodation for those who do not bring their own camping equipment.

Restaurant around the corner

The restaurant It Polderhûs is just a hundred metres from the campsite. In the former farmhouse you can enjoy lunch or a delicious dinner. Through the campsite's website, you can order rolls from the local bakery for a delicious breakfast.

Liked - Der Service und die Ansprechpartner vor Ort waren sehr gut und es wurde schnell reagiert. Es gab auch ausreichend Freizeitangebote und der Platz war sehr ruhig und sauber.
Disliked - Die sanitäreinrichtungen könnten häufiger auf Klopapier und Handtücher kontrolliert werden.

Liked - Rund herum ´präsentiert sich viel unberührte Natur, durchzogen von Wasserstraßen und Seenlandschaften, Ideal zum Wandern und Radfahren. Der Campingplatz liegt zentral an einem Naturschutzgebiet. Vom Platz aus gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten seine Urlaubsaktivitäten zu beginnen.
Disliked - Das Infomaterial ist überwiegend in Niederländisch. Das ist zwar grundlegend kein Problem, aber eine deutsche Übersetzung würde es etwas einfacher machen.
