Do you like to camp at a small-scale campsite surrounded by nothing other than nature and meadows? At Camping De Kan Hoeve you stay in the Frisian countryside, close to Drachten and the Alde Feanen National Park. In addition to the mini campsite, De Kan Hoeve also has attractive holiday cottages and a B&B with group accommodation. No entertainment is organised here, but you enjoy the peace and quiet as well as the countryside.

Quiet holiday in the countryside

The mini campsite has spacious pitches that are suitable for motorhomes, caravans, tents and cars with roof tents. The pitches have 10-ampere power and water tap stations. The toilet block is heated. The comfortable tiny houses are suitable for two people and have all of the modern conveniences. The house includes your own terrace. Finally, there is also a B&B in an attractive, former stables. After a wonderful night’s rest, enjoy a fresh breakfast in the kitchen-diner. Groups of up to 11 people can stay here.

Sustainable accommodations

The owners of Camping De Kan Hoeve place great value on sustainability. The power in the tiny houses and the B&B is generated with solar panels and the hot water with a solar boiler.

Explore the Frisian area

The vicinity is great for hikes and cycling tours in the countryside. The location is close to the Alde Feanen National Park, a lowland moor area of almost 2,500 hectares with lakes, reed land and swamp forest. If you want a little more action, get on your bicycle. You’ll arrive in Drachten in no time (9 km)! It has plenty of shops and restaurants.
