Bordering the Nationaal Park Drents-Friese Wold lies the beautiful family campsite RCN de Roggeberg. The beautiful nature in the area invites to go walking or cycling. Furthermore, it is located in Appelscha, a picturesque village where you will feel at home straight away. It is a large campsite, but due to the separation of the camping fields, it feels like camping on a small-scale campsite.

Camping amidst green

RCN de Roggeberg offers the camper generous pitches between trees on beautifully laid out lawns. Some of the camping fields have a playground in the middle of the field. This way you can keep an eye on the children or grandchildren while you are enjoying yourself. For camper owners, there are special camper sites, with a paved area. Do you prefer some extra comfort? Opt for a more spacious camping pitch with private sanitary facilities.

It is also possible to rent one of the accommodations.

Holiday fun for all

RCN de Roggeberg offers something for everyone. There is mini-golf, a pumptrack track and a multifunctional sports field. For a fee you can have a game of tennis, or go climbing and abseiling in the climbing park. In addition to these facilities, there is an entertainment team on the campsite from April to October and during the school holiday. Small children will have fun in the water play paradise. Furthermore, within walking distance from the campsite is an outdoor swimming pool free of charge.

Visit the Brasserie for a cosy lunch or dinner. Fancy a quick bite to eat? Then there is the Brood & Snack. Here you can get freshly baked rolls in the morning and fries and snacks in the afternoon.

prima camping met ruime plekken.verlichting kan iets beter. wij hadden plek met eigen sanitair, maar anders is het ver in het donker lopen naar het sanitair

Camping De Roggeberg in Appelscha biedt royale plaatsen omzoomd met veel groen en wordt goed onderhouden. Personeel op de receptie helpt vriendelijk en is perfect op de hoogte van alles wat er op en buiten de camping te beleven is. Alle medewerkers zijn uiterst vriendelijk en hulpbereid. Wij komen zeker nog een keer of vaker terug

verder ziet de camping er goed onderhouden uit.

We overnachten hier regelmatig het zijn ruime camperplaatsen, met alles wat je nodig hebt. Deze keer stonden wij op de kampeerplaatsen omdat het sanitairgebouw bij de campers in de winter gesloten is.

Slechte camping. Smerig en altijd koudwater om te douchen. Sanitair gebouw werd maar half schoon gemaakt. Geen aanrader.

Ligging in mooi gebied bij het mooie dorp Appelscha . Hier veel faciliteiten. Mooi naastliggend zwembad, gratis voor campinggasten. Goed restaurant en buiten BBQ en pizza plaza. Klimbaan en sportieve activiteiten. Door de kleine veldjes voelt camping klein schaalig aan.
