Camping Tikvah is a small-scale campsite in Drenthe, situated between woods, moors and sand drifts. The theme of the campsite is Memorial Camp Westerbork, located just a few kilometres from the campsite. You camp there in peace on a spacious comfort pitch or in a luxury safari tent. The sanitary building, with underfloor heating and facilities for the disabled, is also comfortable.

Spacious comfort pitches

Large lawns accommodate over fifty touring pitches. All these pitches are very spacious, most of them are even comfort pitches. If you camp on such a comfort pitch, you have access to running water, a drainage point and electricity. The lawns are extensive and give a spacious impression. Trees around the fields offer shady spots at the edges. If you want extra comfort (or a week of glamping), you can choose a safari tent or an apartment in the holiday home.

Child-friendly camping

For campers who like to visit Camp Westerbork Remembrance Centre, Camp Tikvah is the ideal base. But the campsite is more than that. With playground equipment, a youth centre including a table tennis table and table football table, and a toddlers' corner with toys, children can also enjoy themselves. Mostly Dutch campers visit the campsite.

Christian services

There is also a place for religious camping guests at camping Tikvah. Weekly services are organised, in which people pray together and talk about the Christian faith. However, don't be afraid that i twill be forced upon you once you have chosen the campsite as your camping destination. Everyone is welcome on the campsite and everyone is free in his or her activities.

Travelling party: Seniors

Een hele rustige mooie Camping in de nabijheid van Kamp Westerbork. Waar wel wat meer aandacht voor zou moeten zijn is de verlichting op de velden, ontbreekt.. Voor ouderen is dit zeker een probleem in het najaar.
Verder hebben we niet kunnen vaststellen waar de christelijke profilering tot uiting komt. Er is geen belangstelling, aandacht voor de gasten.

Travelling party: Seniors

Prachtig gelegen, mooie plekken op aparte velden. De camping grenst aan het Westerbork pad.
Veel fiets en wandel mogelijkheden.
