Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Beatifully located just 200m from the beach on the peaceful Curlandian coast. Peaceful during the week, becomes somewhat busier and noisier on weekends. A lot of space to choose your own pitch, electricity available. Friendly staff and clean toilets. Restaurant with local food available on site. Nearest supermarket available by car in Ventspils or Dundaga - no shop in the village of Mikeltornis. Playground for children and bonfire pitches available. Barbecues are allowed. Only cold water for dish washing. Tap water very rich in iron (not potable, brownish colour), so it is crucial to bring your own fresh water for cooking and drinking. Frequented both by local and international tourists. Great opportunities for hiking and biking along the coast. Clean and shallow waters, excellent for non-expert swimmers and children.
