Camping Village Miramare is situated on the tip of the Cavallino peninsula, the elongated promontory which separates the Venice Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. You are just a stone's throw away from the docks of the ferries to Venice and the lagoon islands. For people looking for a quiet spot from which to visit Venice, this is an ideal campsite, even more so because you leave your car here and take the ferry across to San Marco Square.

Beach (temporarily) inaccessible
Miramare is a neat small-scale campsite. The camping pitches are spacious. In addition, there are mobile homes and bungalows to rent. Due to the proximity of the dock for the ferries, Miramare is an excellent base for people wanting to visit Venice. For beach lovers, Miramar is less well-suited at the moment. On the beaches in the direct vicinity of the campsite, a barrier is being built which should protect Venice against flooding.
Camping without frills
In terms of campsites, Miramare is of standard quality. It does not offer entertainment, which you will find at other campsites. However, there is a moderately sized swimming pool with separate children's pool, a sunbathing lawn and a bar. In the direct vicinity you will only find a few restaurants, no shops. The camping shop only stocks the bare necessities.
Sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities are not very modern but are kept neat and tidy.
Why visit here?
To make the crossing by boat from Punta Sabbioni to Venice. The boat trip is an unforgettable experience when you approach the famous San Marco Square over the water via Lido.
