Situated along the Brenta river on the agricultural mainland, in proximity to Venice, you will find Camping Serenissima. This peaceful campsite is especially popular with campers who want to visit Venice (bus stop in front of the campsite) and/or Padua. In terms of facilities Serenissima is a relatively basic campsite, most visitors only spend a couple of days here.

Quiet and green

The campsite with its abundance of greenery and deciduous trees is an oasis of peace, a lovely spot to relax after a visit to the, at times, hectic Venice. The reception is friendly and and the atmosphere amiable. The pitches are spacious, well maintained and largely shaded. You have a feeling of camping in a lovely, green garden. On the campsite you can rent basic mobile homes and bungalows, suitable for a maximum of four persons. The sanitary facilities are not hypermodern, but they are neat and clean.

New acquisition

The swimming pool on the campsite is brand new and a refreshing attraction after a visit to Venice on a summer day. Talking about refreshing: at the reception you will find a bar for an ice cream, a beer, cool drink or a lovely cappuccino. Furthermore, there is a basic restaurant and a small camping shop for the most important necessities.

Must see

Guests who camp here, mainly come to see Venice. The bus stops twice an hour in front of the campsite and takes you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From there you walk straight to the old centre of Venice or board a vaporetto, the boat that takes you through the canals.

Travelling party: Seniors

Helemaal eens met dhr/ mevrouw. Huijbergen in 1923. echter kan melden dat sanitair is vernieuwd, mooie warme douches annex wastafels dus veel privacy.
Personeel vriendelijk en gastvrij, ook is er een campingkeuken voor trekkers. idd weinig voor kinderen maar de ideale uitvalsbasis voor Venetië en Padua, de bus stopt voor de camping

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Ideale camping voor een bezoek aan Venetië of Padova, bus stopt voor de deur en kost weinig. Plaatsen zijn groot en makkelijk bereikbaar maar je krijgt wel het gevoel van een doorgang camping. Sanitair is redelijk schoon maar wel verouderd met sommige wc\'s nog een gat in de grond! Smeer je einde middag en avond heel goed in met muggenspray want het wemelt ervan, prikken zelfs door je kleding heen.

aangenaam verrast op deze familie camping. het is een camping voor kort verblijf .
Het personeel is er erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. goede verbinding naar Venetië en Padua. Keuken is open van half acht tot half 10 in de avond en het eten is er aan te bevelen. Kortom zeer de moeite waard

Travelling party: Single

5 dagen in September 2021. Wat een geweldige plek voor bezoekers van Venetië en de villas van Palladio. Pal aan het Canal de la Brenta. De bus stopt voor de deur en gaat regelmatig. Een heerlijk ruim terrein met bomen.
Ook Padua en Chioggia makkelijk bereikbaar.
Uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen aan de receptie, in de bar en op het terrein.
Sanitair smetteloos.

Travelling party: Young couple

Hele goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding! Camping is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een dagje Venetië. Met de bus (die stopt voor de deur) ben je in een kwartiertje in Venetië. Schoon en net sanitair. Heel goed en vriendelijk personeel. Ook hebben ze een leuk en net zwembad en een supermarkt en restaurant. Wij zijn echt dik tevreden over deze camping!! Echt een aanrader :)!

Ideale camping om Venetië te bezoeken. Bus stopt voor de camping. Vriendelijk personeel dat goed Engels spreekt en je vragen over de omgeving goed kan beantwoorden en behulpzaam is. Fietsen gaat maar er zijn geen vrijliggende fietspaden en veel Italianen moeten nog wennen aan fietsers op de rijbaan. Sanitair is voldoende en schoon. Wij waren hier in de laatste week van september.

In de lockdown-zomer van 2020 hier twee nachten gestaan. Het was erg rustig. Mooie schaduwplaatsen, heerlijk zwembad en een bus naar hartje Venetië voor de deur. Vraag de meneer bij de receptie even om een reservering te maken voor het fantastische restaurant achter de camping. Aanbevolen!
