Trasimeno Glamping Resort is located right on Lake Trasimeno in the region of Umbria. With pitches directly on the water, a small private harbour and a swimming pool, this campsite is ideal for those who love water. The beautiful surroundings lend themselves to fun cycle rides too. Lake Trasimeno is fifteen kilometres west of Perugia. The campsite is in an area with green sloping hills, planted with vineyards and olive trees. This restful region, with idyllic villages and spacious lawns, is an ideal cycling area.

Camping right next to the lake

The campsite has many types of mobile homes, from basic to super deluxe. All of the mobile homes have either a private garden or a terrace. If you want to camp, there are also several options. Will you choose the standard pitches? Or a pitch right on the water? All of the pitches are car-free: you can only use your car when you arrive and when you leave. There are also pitches where dogs are permitted.

Restful

This campsite is particularly suitable for guests who want to enjoy a restful holiday, the beautiful surroundings, and lively evenings on the lake. There are two grassy beaches, where you can relax in the sun. It's possible to swim in the lake, but Trasimeno Glamping Resort also has a large pool with several pool slides, a nice children's pool, and a jacuzzi.

Liked - Big pitch size is the biggest advantage, also always clean and refreshing swimming pool
Disliked - Removal of waterweed from the lake is neccesary because it is impossible to swim in it. While even 3 years ago it wasn't problematic

Liked - The general area was lovely. The site on the side of the lake was fantastic with spectacular views and incredible sunsets especially if you have a lakeside pitch. Staff in bar/restaurant were friendly n
Disliked - At sunset the lakeside pitches were absolutely engulfed in flying insects. It was like a biblical plague. The whole site has the appearance of being neglected with overgrown path ways and many of the buildings needing some paint and general refresh. The open air showers were disgusting.

Liked - We have been visiting Italy for 20 years and Italgest is our favourite campsite. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and have made lifelong friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and the views exceptional. We still savour photographing the beautiful sunset, as do many! This year we took our dogs for the first time. We were always able to find shade for them and they enjoyed playing on the lakeside! Our lodgetent was amazing, particularly with the added bonus of a bathroom. Last but definitely not least are the mouthwatering pizzas with the crispiest, thinnest bases ever!
