Close to the beach of Marina di Massa, on the coast of Tuscany, is Luna Campsite. At this small-scale campsite, you will camp on a quiet and shady plot. You can really relax here, as there is no entertainment programme or swimming pool. But you are in luck: the beach and the Mediterranean are within walking distance.

Quiet and comfortable camping

The campsite is well looked after. Straight gravel paths lead to the shady touring pitches and the bungalows. Sometimes it is a bit cramped. Especially the touring pitches are not particularly large, so it takes some skill to get your camper or caravan parked. The pitches are largest just behind reception.

Beach within walking distance

The Mediterranean Sea is perfect for a dip in the water, all the more so as large boulders offer swimmers a protected and safe swimming area. On the beach there is enough space to lay out your towel, but the image here is (at least during the summer months) mainly determined by the numerous sun loungers. These are owned by the many restaurants that have gathered along the coast. For a fee, you can sit on one of the chairs.

Restaurants and bars

The advantage of the many restaurants and bars at the beach is that there is always somewhere to eat. For example on the beach or in the resort of Marina di Massa. The campsite also has a bar, the central meeting point for campsite guests. You can enjoy a drink with your fellow campers in the atmosphere of a shady garden.

Travelling party: Seniors

Kwamen hier 3 nachten omdat andere camping al vol was. (lang weekend voor Italianen). Werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en een plek werd voorgesteld. Camping ligt vlak naast een drukke strandweg maar na 23:00 is het doodstil. Ook op camping ernaast waar meer activiteiten zijn. Bakker is op loopafstand, idem voor het strand. Er zijn veel verpachte stranden maar er zijn ook enkele stukken openbaar. Sanitair is eenvoudig maar schoon en fijne douches. Wij waren er 1e week juni.
